Which ADC Adscope should you choose?
ADC's range is built around a few chestpieces offered in many colours. Pick the chestpiece for the work you do, then the colour.
Adscope 603 or Adscope Lite 619?
The 603 is ADC's all-round dual-head stethoscope, with a stainless steel chestpiece and an AFD (adjustable frequency) diaphragm, at 164 g and 76 cm overall. The 619 Lite uses an aluminium dual-head chestpiece and weighs just 105 g, so it is the one for students and nurses who wear a stethoscope all day and want it light. Both come in many colours, including rose gold, tactical and limited editions. Some 603 colours also come with spare eartips or a scope ID tag.

Do you need a convertible or cardiology model?
The Adscope 608 is a convertible clinician stethoscope: swap between adult and paediatric AFD diaphragms or a bell on a stainless chestpiece. The 601 is the convertible cardiology version with dual-lumen tubing. The 600 Platinum has a sculpted one-sided AFD chestpiece and dual-lumen tubing at 203 g, for clinicians who do a lot of cardiac listening.

For children and for teaching
The Adimals 618 has a 3.8 cm AFD chestpiece, weighs 85 g and comes with seven snap-on animal faces for young patients. The Adscope 613 is a teaching stethoscope with two headsets on one 603 chestpiece, so a tutor and a student can listen to the same sound. Engraving goes on the earpiece for every ADC model.

Before you buy
What does AFD mean on an ADC stethoscope?
AFD stands for adjustable frequency diaphragm. Light pressure brings out low-frequency sounds and firmer pressure brings out high-frequency sounds, without turning the chestpiece over.
Is the Adscope Lite 619 good for students?
Yes. It is a dual-head stethoscope with an AFD diaphragm and weighs 105 g, which makes it comfortable to wear through long days on the ward.
Can you engrave an ADC stethoscope?
Yes. We laser-engrave the name on the earpiece in-house, usually on the day you order.
What warranty do ADC stethoscopes have?
The Adscope 603 and the Adimals 618 are listed with a lifetime warranty. Check each product page for the model you choose.
