The Littmann Classic II Paediatric with a red tube: a dual-sided stethoscope with a 3.3 cm diaphragm for listening to children.
The Littmann Classic II Paediatric is a dual-sided stethoscope made for smaller patients, used by students and clinicians to assess heart, lung and other body sounds in children. This one has a red tube, easy to pick out from the black and navy stethoscopes around a ward.
Features
- Dual-sided chestpiece with a small 3.3 cm floating diaphragm and a 2.5 cm open bell, for both high- and low-frequency (bell) sounds
- Non-chill rim and diaphragm for patient comfort
- Anatomically designed headset, angled to follow the ear canal; tension adjusts by squeezing the eartubes together or pulling them apart
- Snap-Tight soft-sealing eartips for a comfortable fit and a good acoustic seal
- Tubing not made with natural rubber latex, resists skin oils and alcohol, and keeps its shape after folding into a pocket
- Three-year Littmann warranty; made in the USA
