We laser-engrave names on Littmann, ADC and WiZmed stethoscopes for R250, usually on the same day you order. You add it on the product page by ticking the engraving box and typing your text, and the stethoscope leaves us engraved. Most people choose their name and surname, and on most models it goes around the rim of the chestpiece.

Which stethoscopes can be engraved?
We engrave three brands: Littmann, ADC and our own WiZmed Stethoscope. The engraving is done in-house in Cape Town on our laser, so you do not need to find a separate engraver after you buy.

What to engrave on a stethoscope
Stethoscopes look alike on a ward and they go missing. The point of engraving is that anyone who picks yours up knows whose it is, so the most useful thing to engrave is your name and surname. After that, it is personal.
- Name and surname, e.g. "Thandi Nkosi". Clear, and still right after you qualify.
- Title and name, e.g. "Dr T Nkosi" or "Sr T Nkosi". Popular as a graduation or new-job gift.
- Initials for a minimal look, especially on a smaller chestpiece.
- Name with an icon: a heart, a paw print or Bismillah calligraphy.
- A short word or date that means something to you, such as a graduation year.

Tick the engraving box
On the product page, tick the "Name and Surname" checkbox. A text box appears.
Type your text exactly
Enter the name or words as you want them engraved, with the capitals you want. Choose a font or icon if you would like one.
Check out as normal
The engraving is added to your order. There is nothing to send us and no separate booking.
We engrave and send it
Engraving is usually done the same day. Your stethoscope ships nationwide from Cape Town, or you can collect it free in Cape Town, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00.
How to engrave a Littmann
For a Littmann, the name goes around the rim of the chestpiece. Because we are an authorised Littmann distributor, you buy the stethoscope and the engraving in one order: pick your Classic III or Cardiology IV, add engraving, and it arrives with your name on it.
If you want a second, removable name label, the Littmann Identification Tag fits all Littmann models and comes with an engravable nameplate. It clips onto the tubing, so it is easy to spot in a pile of stethoscopes.
Engraving ADC and WiZmed stethoscopes
On the ADC Adscope 603 we engrave the chestpiece. On the rose-gold Adscope Lite 619 the engraving goes on the earpieces instead. The WiZmed Stethoscope has optional name engraving on the chestpiece, and so does the stethoscope in the WiZmed Combo.

We have engraved thousands of stethoscopes since 2020. A laser is more precise than manual engraving, gives a clean, even line and lets us work in different fonts and sizes. It is not limited to text either: images and symbols can be added on request.
