Dissecting and Suturing Kits
Anatomy Pro Pack – Doctors Jacket + Dissecting Kit + FREE Anatomy WiZpin (Second Year Bundle)
Buying guide
Which medical equipment kit should I buy?
Each bundle is built around a year of study or a type of placement. Pick the one that matches what your faculty asks for, and skip what you already own.
First-year and anatomy students
The First-Year Anatomy Kit pairs the WiZmed student dissecting kit with a pupil torch, Babinski hammer, tourniquet, measuring tape, BMI tape and 7-Step ECG ruler. Second-years can choose the Anatomy Pro Pack, which combines a doctor's jacket with the dissecting kit and a free Anatomy WiZpin.
Clinical years: I already have a stethoscope
The Ward Kit is for students who own a stethoscope already. It includes the WiZmed aneroid BP set, pupil torch, Babinski hammer, tourniquet, measuring tape and ECG ruler. For the neurological and ENT examination specifically, the Neuro and ENT Exam Kit has 512 Hz and 128 Hz tuning forks, a hammer and a pupil torch. The Be Ward Prepared bundle is a smaller set of basics with two ECG cards, one for your clinical partner.
Interns
The Ward-Ready Intern Kit covers the first weeks of internship: an engraved WiZ badge, a Trodat pocket stamp, a Contec pulse oximeter, MiniMedicut shears, a tourniquet, the Tape PRO, medical tape and a SnapSafe ampoule opener. The Intern ID Pack is the lighter option, with a stamp, a laser-engraved name badge, an ID carabiner and the ECG ruler. Both are useful gifts for a new intern.

Physiotherapy and OT
The Physio and Rehab Assessment Kit includes 12-inch and 8-inch goniometers, a 128 Hz tuning fork, a Babinski hammer, the Measuring Tape PRO and a BMI tape. It covers the range-of-motion, reflex and sensory tests in most first practicals.
Questions we get asked
Before you buy
What equipment do medical students need?
Most need a stethoscope, a manual BP set, a pupil torch, a patella hammer, a tuning fork, a tourniquet and a measuring tape, with a dissecting kit in anatomy years. Check your faculty's list, as it differs between universities.
Do the bundles include a stethoscope?
No. These bundles are built around the other tools, so you can choose your stethoscope separately. The Ward Kit is made for students who already own one.
Can I buy the items separately?
Yes. Every item in the bundles is also sold on its own in the equipment range, so you can skip anything you already have.
